Most Homeowners Have No Idea What Their Home Is Worth Right Now
5 June 2026
I hear this all the time:
"Angel, I'm not ready to sell yet."
That's perfectly fine.
But here's my question:
Do you know what your home is actually worth today?
Most homeowners don't. And that's a mistake.
After helping homeowners sell more than 2,900 homes, I've learned that the people who make the best real estate decisions aren't always the ones who are ready to move.
They're the ones who stay informed.
Think about it.
Your home may be your largest financial asset.
Yet many homeowners go years without knowing:
- How much equity they've built
- What today's buyers would pay for their property
- What improvements would actually increase value
- Whether now, six months from now, or two years from now might be the best time to make a move
That's why I love having these conversations. Not because I'm trying to convince someone to sell. But because knowledge creates options.
I've sat down with homeowners who were shocked to discover they had significantly more equity than they realized.
I've also met homeowners who thought they needed to make expensive upgrades before selling, when in reality a few strategic improvements would have made a much bigger impact.
The truth is simple:
You don't need to be ready to sell to understand your home's value. You just need good information.
That's why I'm willing to invest my time to help homeowners understand their position in today's market.
Because when the time comes to make a decision, you'll be doing it with facts instead of guesses.
And that's always a better place to start.
Thinking about selling, downsizing, relocating, or simply curious about your home's value?
